this is true muslims in Dearborn MI, not Rima Fakih.. I respect her in every way as a muslim brother, but i disagree with the fact that shes a role model. How you be a muslim and have your body that was made and given to you from Allah, be judged and exposed by a bunch of judges that are not your family.. Rima insh god would lead you the right way like many other famous muslims, but this video is what Dearborn muslims are really like.

@fychea Salam. Without getting into too much discussion here, I just wanted to say that ‘extravagance’ and ‘indulgence’ might be taken to be relative terms. Having a big house can be a sign (not the only) of success, and islam is not against that. If it is within their means to buy such things due to their hard earned halal money, why is that extravagent, indulence and satanic? I think the message here can also be taken as ‘you can be a successful person and a good muslim too’. My opinion.
The message is strong; however, the word “FRICKIN,” is horrible please look it up and find out the def. as it is slang for another word. Also, the house does not give a true reflection of the Father’s message -ISLAM IS THE RELIGON OF MODERATION “Oh children of Adam, take your admornments at every place of worship, and eat and drink, but do not be extravagent; verirly He does not love the extravagant (7:31).” “Squanders are the brothers of the satans…(17:26-7). Over-indulgence=Satan
