Yemeni Airline Crashes With 153 on Board

A Yemeni jetliner carrying 153 people crashed into the Indian Ocean as it came in for a landing during howling winds on the island nation of Comoros. (June 30)
I went to Comore in January just before the crash I remember the turbulation was extreem. The plane dropped twice and I thought that was it…the planes are falling apart you see at soon as you get in My sympathies to all the famillies who lost someone in this crash

the french authorities try to disclaim from this horrible accident and try not to announce that the yemeni plane was attacked by a rocket and get it down crashed so France is the first responsible for that

Although there have been several major aviation tragedies this year, flying is still proportionally very safe- I believe 1972 was the worst year on record and considering air traffic is at a much greater volume now, this indicates the chances of dying in a plane crash in 2009 is very low. Of course when disaster’s happen its hard to believe this.

If my engine on my vehicle quits while operating (which it has before), I pull over and live to tell about. If the same occurs on an aircraft…It’s over! I also have somewhat of control of my vehicle.

This is the first plane to ever crash thats from Yemen. Blacklist it from Europe isn’t it too soon to talk all that crap and you don’t even know what happened yet. Other countrys just need to stop buying cheep airplanes from France. Typical of Europeans to put blame on Yemen so they don’t have to take the heat for their bad merchandise. Bad move France.
OMG Stand on the flight that is bull crap this an airplane not a bus. I’ve been on Yemeni airlines before nobody stands during anytime of flight. Why are they trying to make Yemen look bad its these airbuses the can’t withstand bad weather. France just wants to put the blame on someone else because its their planes made in France then sold to other countrys. Thats y their plane crashed too from Brazil, oh but they don’t no y theirs crashed bull.
well its estimated that the chances of dying in an airplane crash are over 3 million to 1. you have much more chance being killed by a wild donkey litteraly they are the odds. planes are designed much better than any other macines built by man.
Not enough valium or alcohol on Earth to get me on an airplane. I know the safety record and arguements. More people are injured than killed in auto accidents; More people are killed than injured in plane crashes. Also, at any given moment, there are many more people in autos than there are in the air. I live in Alabama and and have been on 13 cruises out of Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.
thats silly planes are the safest way to go. they hardly ever crash if your a nervous flyer just take a couple of valium before you get on the plane.

I jumped for joy upon hearing of michael jackon’s death. I would love to watch him writhe in pain. I’m reliving his moment of spectacular death. He tossed and turned on his death bed. Maggots crawled out of his eye sockets and nostrils. Then his body went stiff. He gasped for air, choking on his semen. “Beat it, beat it,” he muttered, then his body went limp and he was no more. I wish I were there to capture this kodak moment on camera. After the funeral, i’m gonna pee on his grave.
