Cause you could die!
why not?i think traveling to foreign countries is a wonderful experience for anyone…and being 18 years old is as good an age as any to do that…so yeah i would recommend this & i hope that you’ll have a wonderful time : )
Would that be via Guantanamo Bay on the way back?
well, 18 is quite a young age for a canadian to visit such place as the culture, language and beliefs are totally opposed to eachother.. so I belief he should travel once he get more matured and more sensible.
:)..
be safe~!
Yes, if you’re going to Aden or Sana you should be fine. Don’t go out into tribal areas. Behave. Respect local custom. Dress respectfully, don’t wear shorts and tee shirts but long pants and a long sleeved shirt. Don’t drink or do drugs. Don’t discuss politics or religion.
Your age has nothing to do with it. I wouldn’t travel alone to such a place, and probably wouldn’t go to Yemen if I had 50 people with me.
Have you ever been abroad before? If this is your first time, I would not recommend going to Yemen. If you have travelled before, then why not?
Opposed to popular beliefs Yemen is not a dangerous country to visit. The Yemenis are very friendly towards foreigners. There is a lot of culture in Yemen, so there is a lot to see.
I recommend you to read a little about Yemen or to speak with Yemenis before going. You must respect local customs, just as anywhere else.
Don’t go too far east into the country as that part is more or less controlled by clans. Stick to the capital Sana’a and go south.
