You forgot the $3 BILLION a year to the poor starving people of Israel

They are doing it all the time. It isn’t strange, but a tragedy that our own country will not take care of home first. Our politicians are out of control and giving away money that we don’t have.
They just won’t stop spending and are crazy to spend and spend when we are broke. We can’t pay for the wars that we have going on ..and need to get out of them as they can’t be won anyway..
The only think I know to do is a massive change of the people in govt. Take to the polls and take to the streets to support your candidates if you can find any good ones..

Nothing new, this country has pored trillions into other countries for decades for one reason or another, very little of it for poor people.Think of U.S. as lobbyist’s and you’ll be closer to the truth.

$70 million is small change compered to the money America has spent causing trouble around the world

And well — that’s in just the Department of Defense alone — just take a gander at the Department of State, which is educating foreign nations and equipping them with resources and know-how in ways that would not even be willed to do or be thought-up for American students in cities like Washington, D.C. — computers, networks, facilitators, teachers. It is an agency all peopled by smiling American foreign diplomat corps and staffs who have known only privilege and entree, and would turn their noses up to black students right there in D.C.; this, because the diplomat corps and staffs of the Department of State are ‘not’ black. Just guess what race they are. One need only peruse the State magazine issued monthly to see the proof of what is said here.

Such is as Ralph Waldo Emerson said in the middle 19th Century in one of his essays: “Thy love afar is spite at home.” You know one thing — many of the environmental- and animals-rights people chose to work in that profession because, you see, — trees and bears do not talk back as to force the privilege classes to face truths.

The Department of State’s U.S. Foreign Services corps ought to officiate D.C. as a foreign post, and maybe, just maybe, the nation’s said-to-be worst public education system might become among the best in the nation. And so not all comes down to dollars alone. It has as much if not more to do with an unwillingness to tackle the real challenges within the U.S.A., — with the bark on!

However, we can put nothing past these hypocrites who work in the agencies of the executive branch of federal government — they are a class of people who have ever been several times removed from the hearts of the people of this nation. They perhaps will never deem to avail truth and afford poor and working class people with means and understanding and resource.

That $70m goes to workers here in the U.S. who make the bombs, guns, planes, tanks, etc that go to Yemen. If we did not pay taxes to keep our neighbors working they would be among the unemployed you mention. Then we would have to pay taxes to give them extended unemployment benefits. Now you understand the phrase “between a rock and a hard place.” And you now know why workers feel less well off than they did in the fifties, when one worker could support a family.
