A military judge has refused the Obama administration’s request to delay the arraignment of Abu al-Nashiri, the accused planner of the 2000 USS Cole attack in Yemen, FOX News learned Thursday.

He thinks that will make them “like” the US.

He’s not trying to “protect” them. He ordered a suspension so they could do a legal review of how the Bush administration had been holding, prosecuting, and convicting the detainees. To put another, more legal, mechanism in place.
All the terrorists who are guilty are going to get what they have coming to them, one way or the other. It’s just a question of whether the process the Bush administration set in place is the best one.
He’s not. He requested a delay in the trials of 22 people at Gitmo. This particular judge is only speaking of this one particular person, the only person associated with the Cole.
I find it amusing that the judge’s ruling is based on the defendant’s right to a “speedy trial,” since this took seven years to come to trial.

However we in Colorado must have one of the dumbest governor’s in my opinion. He has volunteered to take the terrorist and jail them here in a high security prison. I say take them to Chicago.
Jason, you are dead wrong. When these terrorist reach USA soil they have all the rights as citizens. They were never given their miranda rights, so all evidence they have now will be thrown out of court. They will not be able to convict any of them.

I think Obama wants to see them tried in a Federal Court, not by a military tribunal.
I don’t think the military should have to deal with these guys at all. Why are we saddled with these f*ckers? Turn them over to the Department Of Justice and let them figure it out.

Appeasers feel that if we are nice to others, they will be nice to us. They don’t consider the danger in their love for diversity or even acknowledge it. So stay close to home and away from crowds and if you do have to go out, don’t forget your hardhat, we could be in for a rough ride the next few years.
Because that’s all democrats are known for. Sitting idly by while terrorists kill americans all over the world.
