Saad al-Faqih, head of the opposition group Islamic Reform Movement, told Arab-language TV al-Alam that Prince Bandar has been disappeared and the media has published no word from the ex-diplomat’s whereabouts since nearly three months ago. According to al-Faqih, the prince first disappeared in Britain but he returned to the kingdom shortly afterwards. He added that after Saudi officials discovered that he had provoked 200 agents working for the Saudi security service to stage a coup against King Abdullah, he was put under house arrest. Al-Faqih said people close to the king had disclosed Bandar’s plots and foiled them. He said Saudi sources believe that intelligence provided by some Arab countries help the Saudi monarch foil Prince Bandar’s conspiracy. Power struggle between members of the Saudi royal family has been common as power is shared among some 200 princes out of the estimated 7000 family members. However, the forces of Financial Oligarchical in London and New York have prevented the underdevelopment of the entire world to maintain their capital structures, their Offshore empire of financial derivatives, Wars, plundering, and looting. The Oligarchy is making a “world grab” for raw materials and food supplies.

You would need to remove the salt from the Mediterranean water. And a lot of it, to practice agriculture. Not just that, most deserts have lost their organic soil due erotion, so the soil cannot retain water and goes right through it. Water alone cannot create good arable soil anywhere, any farmer knows that.
If Sahara could have been turned into a garden, it would have been done already.

Minerals in water creates good arable soil. The Sahara, for instance, can be irrigated with water from the Mediterranean. This was Frankin Roosevelt’s policy for Africa before he died of Polio. He said that “it would make the Imperial Valley look like a cabbage patch. The Sahara would bloom for miles.”

To irrigate you need water and good soil. Deserts usually have very little of those around. The Soviets did it, and look what natural disaster happened when the Aral Sea dried into a salt desert as a result! Israel does it, and all the neighboring countries and Israel suffer ever diminishing water resources.
Desalinization is very expensive and takes a lot of energy, not to speak the transportation. Money and energy, that’s the problem with desalination. And Mars!
If you took all the people in the world and stacked them shoulder to shoulder, ass to ass, you could fit the human race within 10 square miles.
The human race could fit within Washington DC, and still have free space.

Water is 71.1% of the earth. Desalinize the saltwater. Arable land can be irrigated, especially areas like the Sahara and the Gobi Desert. The earth is enormous.
You can also mine minerals and ores from Mars, and colonize it.
my mom and her bf have a garden thats exactly what they do lol, one time in the early spring they just walk out their and break up the ground some and throw a bunch of seeds on the ground and it explodes
I grew 200lbs of organic food on my inner city lot. this was my second year gardening…I didnt even have a tiller…just a shovel..We aren’t gunna run out of food the earth is amazingly productive. Eat a tomato and save the the seeds and you will see how much you can produce.

This is another issue where I disagree with Jones and Tarpley. There really is such thing as too many people. Resources like water and arable land are many places runing out, or have run out, Alex’s precious Texas included.
I don’t support population elimination, of course. I’m not one of those hot head extremists. But denying this issue and saying that there would be plenty of resources is also silly!
