but after 9/11 everything changed
Bahrain never had terrorists and is one of the closest allies to the UK in the Middle-East, one of the most liberal arab nations in the world! Why do we have to lose that advantage because of what few stupid terrorists did ? Bahrain used to be the only middle-eastern country that its citizens could travel to the Uk without a Visa and visa-versa ?

I am sick of Americana’s saying 9/11 was an inside job. Saying explosives were placed in the towers.?

The real facts: if you look back at most of the American wars you will see a pattern. The enemy attacks us then we are justified in declaring war on that country. So I believe at the very least the American gov let the attacks happen so they could start this spread of democracy in the middle east. Here are some if not all the attacks we let happen…

Some of these neoconservative lunatics on Yahoo Answers are so far to the right, they make D!ck Cheney look like Jane Fonda.

Hypothetically speaking, what would the US look like if a Yahoo Answers neocon were in control?

Here’s what I foresee:

- Elimination of federal government completely. Only states have power. If Arizona wants to invade Mexico, so be it. If Mississippi wants to re-institute segregation, what’s stopping them? The federal government would then be privatized and run by corporate giants.

- More wars. Iran, Syria, North Korea, China, Russia, Libya, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Palestinian Territories, Cuba, Venezuela, and Somalia would all be bombed & invaded all at once.

- Military draft re-instated, but only on families making less than 150,000 a year, especially minority families from inner-cities.

- One party system governed by the Republican Party with only a Republican President guaranteed to be in office every 4 years.

- Non-whites forced to carry around immigration or citizen papers.

- Elimination of income tax and the IRS.

- Elimination of the FBI & CIA.

- Elimination of the US Postal Service, because it hurts profits of FedEx & UPS who want to charge you $8 to send a letter.

- All mosques in America would be razed.

- Fox News would be the only news station to be broadcast.

- Social Security liquidated and eliminated; money given to big banks & corporations.

- Minimum wage eliminated — if corporations want to pay you $1 an hour, that’s fine.

- VA Hospital system dismantled for veterans, replaced by profit-driven private hospitals.

- Public community parks destroyed due to being deemed socialist, and replaced by more capitalist investments like high-rise condominiums and shopping centers.

But I thought American Muslims were not crazy like their Arab cousins, isn’t that what apologists keep saying?

I just don’t get it. Innocent people died on 9/11 and that’s a just cause for war. People have to have responsibility for their actions. I was a child when 9/11 happened but I remember on the news arabs cheering when the planes crashed, cheering as people were dieing. Why doesn’t any body care!!!!
I don’t think we’re fighting for oil! I mean if we want oil soooooo badly we would just drill in Alaska!

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has become the first Obama Administration official to publicly describe last year’s deadly shootings at Ft. Hood, Tex., as a terrorist act, according to a search of news clips and transcripts.
