Why is it OK for Cheney to diss Obama on anti-terrorist polices when Gore was told to shut up in 2003?

Fox news doesn’t have a problem with Cheney (who released the Gitmo prisoners to Yemen) criticizing Obama, but Gore was told to be silent when he did the same to Bush. The excuse was that we were at war. Last I checked, we were still at war.
