I hate getting hassled when I’m at airports because I happen to be tan and appear Arab to some people. I’m actually fully Italian American, and not Arab or Muslim at all. Yet people seem to hassle me just because of my looks. Do you think this is fair and what can I say when I am wrongfully profiled? I travel and I feel as though I am always questioned more and looked at suspiciously. Has anyone else experienced this?

Just so wee are clear, I’m not doing this to start a fight.
If you have been watching the news lately, you should have realized that there are upcoming revolutions in the middle east, in countries such as egypt, bahrain, yemen, jordan, saudi arabia, oman, and many more. But have you also noticed that the usa and the uk have tried to support the dictators such as hosni mubarak and ali abdullah saleh. If you have ever wondered why, I have the answer and this is what the usa govt doesn’t want you to know.
I’m going to start with iran.
32 years ago, the islamic republic of iran had its biggest success in the history of iran. We got rid of the americans STEALING our OIL Thanks tothe king at that time, reza shah. Basically the americans were using our oil either free or at very low cost. This is happening with other countries in the middle east. It took the iranians more than 20 years finally get rid of the king (he actually ran away and fled to america, which by law america had to give him back to the new iranian govt because he was a criminal.but pres kennedy I think didnt dont so).
This is why the americans have given support to the dictators , because what they are doing is getting them lots of money. And no-one noticed. Long live justice!
What are your thoughts?
@Shilo im sorry
Are you supposed to be the expert in iran? I live here in iran and unlike you I’ve seen what happened and I know the truth. ahmadinejad won the election fair and square. Mousavi maybe had what 50000,1000000, 10000000 followers? But ahmadinejad had over 50000000+ followers and if you want go on youtube and search massive protest iran. I hope one day you and your good for nothing junk govt will be woken by the truth, the damn dirty bitter truth.
but there is one thing I agree with you on and that’s: Long live freedom!

Take a fellow like Awlaki.

To Quote from the internet news sources:

US intelligence believes that Ibrahim is now in regular contact with the radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who is likewise on the run in Yemen. Known as the the so-called “YouTube” jihadist, sermons by al-Awlaki posted on the internet are believed to have seduced hundreds of new recruits into joining al Qaeda

Would this guy not be eligible for “shoot on sight” standing orders to all US intelligence agents and special forces anywhere in the world?

If not why not.

He’s waging lethal war on the USA and using the whole planet as his battlefield. Why can’t he just be shot on sight?

When we catch him does he get a trial as a “criminal” in Manhatten?

Does he get Mirandized and given an appointed counsel?

If he does, then what about General Guderian during the D Day invasion?

How about Rommel in North Africa.

If captured would they be indicted as “criminals” and taken to Manhatten for trials in civilian courts?

How about Admiral Tojo?

Are all the battlefield enemies of USA just “criminals” entitled to trials with ACLU lawyers to defend them?

If not, then why is Awlaki?

The terror group tied to the Ft. Hood killings and the Christmas Day undies airbomber urge wannabe American jihadis to open fire on crowded restaurants in the nation’s capital to massacre U.S. government workers.

The advice appears in “Inspire,” the latest issue of a slick propaganda publication by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Osama Bin Laden’s franchise in Yemen.

“A random hit at a crowded restaurant in Washington, D.C., at lunch hour might end up knocking out a few government employees,” Yahya Ibrahim writes in the 74-page jihadi how-to magazine.

“Targeting such employees is paramount and the location would also give the operation additional media attention,” Ibrahim added.

“This method has not been used before,” advises AQAP in its “Tips for our brothers in the U.S.”

Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/2010/10/11/2010-10-11_terror_threat_to_restaurants_as_al_qaeda_calls_for_attacks_on_government_workers.html#ixzz12D72InOT
It seems that the “liberal” gun ban in DC is going to leave people even MORE defenseless, if that’s possible…

As Americans we’ve gotten flabby about what has traditionally made us strong, the right to exercise free speech.

The health of our children, the vigor of our communities, the survival of this nation – in fact, the centuries-old American wager on liberty and good faith – depends on the courage to exercise, once again, the right to criticize piggish politicians who don’t want to hear what you, as an American citizen, have to say.

This nation started out in protest against despots. How is it that they’ve found their way back into our government? And why do we, as a nation whose light to the world has been the compact of certain inalienable rights, held in trust by concrete constitutional freedoms, allow them to continue to chop the limbs off Lady Liberty while tearing the stomach out of the rest of the world?
Our light is going out. Our freedoms are dying. Before long we will lament the days long past when we could freely celebrate our independence as citizens.

The world, in fact, and Europe especially – the mother of our ideals for freedom and the one-time admirer of our determination to live by them – gawks in wonderment at our sleepy complacency, at our flabby discontent, and at our prescribed willingness to tolerate and endure the irreparable stupidity of our leaders.
When will we finally wake up to the fact that our president is a buffoon? That his advisors and corporate bedfellows, who fund modern revolutions at home and abroad, are shameless crooks who laugh at the misery of working-class people everywhere, but especially at those who trusted in them for their guidance and pledges to protect their future?

Do we really need another Enron to awaken us to the fact that George W. Bush, Barak Obama and the buzzards who support their waspish bloodsucking with our hard-earned money, would as much drill a hole in our ass as they would a pipeline through Afghanistan and the Arctic Wilderness, or a billion tons of arsenal into the heart of Iraq or Iran or maybe Yemen even?
Americans, led by the Pied Piper of penury and political corruption, have marched right alongside the Doopus Domus Potis (the Dopey Despot) of the New World Order to the precipice of lost liberty.

We peer into an Orphean abyss of a great love lost, liberties betrayed because of our own failure as American citizens to govern ourselves, to right our government and protect our freedoms against hoodlums who steal elections, spit on civil rights and piss on starving mothers.

The American Revolution didn’t stop with the cessation of hostilities against England. The revolution is ongoing. It ends only when men and women in government respect the rights of its people, by guaranteeing and, in fact, encouraging their right to speak out, to criticize irresponsible leadership, to hold their government accountable for its failures and actions.

Who, by the way, is accountable for the Herculean failure to detect the heinous plot to fly commercial airliners into the public marketplace? Was it the FBI, the White House or the CIA?….WHO????
So, scrap the national leaders. Forget them. Let’s take the burden of thorough irresponsibility and total unworthiness upon ourselves as citizens of the United States, and pledge our hopes and dreams to the protection of our constitutional right to say, “You stink, Mr. Cheney, Mr Bush, Mr Obama etc etc etc.”

Woody Guthrie put the jingle in our hearts when we were children, reminding us that we are the inheritors of a great legacy of hope.

This land belongs to you; it belongs to me, it belongs to us,….yes people,….US!

Let’s not forget that we have a right as American citizens to demand accountability from our government, to speak out freely against corruption and injustice, to tell guys like Bush or Obama where they can get off, and to elect representatives in touch with working class values and experience.

If Mr Obama and other criminals in the administration attempt to stop us from exercising these constitutional freedoms, we have the right, and the moral and revolutionary imperative of our nation’s founding mothers and fathers, to run their asses swiftly out of office!

This is what makes America great and its people strong.
Free your mind and save this Nation by reading OUT LOUD & IN PUBLIC, The Constitution and Bill of RIGHTS!

your thoughts,…

Free your mind and save this Nation by reading OUT LOUD & IN PUBLIC, The Constitution and Bill of RIGHTS!

your thoughts,…

shamoozey.info Time for Gaddafi and his regime to step down and stop murdering innocent women and children in Libya. The rest of the world need to know of the atrocities going on in this country at the present time. Are the sanctions a little too late and is it the people of Lybia have to suffer more. Gaddafi is laughing at the UN. Let the press report the atrocities and not have them banned on reporting the murders in the streets of Libya. Freedom to the people of Lybia
