I’m an Indian Hindu and I travel a lot for work. I’m always harassed at the airport in America but not in other countries. Why is this? Can Americans tell the difference between Arabs and Indians?

I saw a documentary , where they travelled to Yemen..? I saw how people ate with their hands. but I noticed that as a side dish green onions is a must in their staples. They ate it raw..just like a side dish of kimchi. Is this common in the arab culture? Very interesting.
