No I personally do not have a problem with the government taking out a scum bag be he born in Yemen or be he born New Mexico. However, I am not a member of Obama’s Hope and Change.
How do all you “torture” hating liberal like BO ok the assassination of a fellow country man.
Do you think he is going to get his right read to him before they blow him away?
I have no problems with obama killing a terrorist
You can cry for radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki after that piece of crap is dead.
It is obvious you did not listen to Barack Obama during the campaign.
Interesting story , i guess the libs have some explaining to do but in this case that so called citizen is in his homeland and is directly behind many attacks on the US , i mean if that doesn’t call for assassination what does.
Al-Awlaki has emerged as a prominent al-Qaida recruiter and has been tied by U.S. intelligence to the 9/11 hijackers, along with Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian accused of trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day, as well as Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people in November at Fort Hood, Texas.
American counterterrorism officials say they believe al-Awlaki has become a recruiter for al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula terrorist network, feeding prospects into plots aimed at the U.S. and at Americans abroad, the officials told The New York Times in a report posted online late Tuesday.
It is extremely rare, if not unprecedented, for an American to be approved for targeted killing, officials told the newspaper. A former senior legal official in the administration of George W. Bush said he did not know of any American who was approved for targeted killing under the former president.
Al-Awlaki, 38, recently was added to the CIA target list after a special government review of his activities, prompted by his status as a U.S. citizen, U.S. officials told the Los Angeles Times. He is to be captured or killed, the newspaper said.
Al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen born in New Mexico to Yemeni parents, has used his personal Web site to encourage Muslims around the world to kill U.S. troops in Iraq.
Am I supposed to be outraged that the U.S. wants this man “captured or killed.”
You have failed miserably. In trying to criticize Obama you have only proven yourself to be blind, deaf, and dumb, now only if you could be mute….
Before you can truly focus on the enemy on the outside, you have to cut the cancer from within. The fact that he is a US citizen makes no difference to the fact that he is a terrorist. I am a UK citizen and I feel that any UK citizen that acts against the UK should be tried for treason and have their heads put on pikes at tower bridge as a lesson to other terrorists. And as for rights, if they know he is guilty of encouraging attacks on the US, then why should he be given any rights? The victims of terrorist attacks don’t get any rights.
I agree with the first poster. I don’t want to see the guy tortured, just dead.
Common sense dictates the President of he United states DOES NOT want to assassinate fellow country man wow…just wow
Some here assassinate the english language though
As for the hope and change..still have the hope-y change-y tingles
Should anyone care to notice the country has changed and people more aware of what has been happening all these years, now that there is more open gov…how much money is in involved in laws being passed, why they do take so long, see the ones who do nothing all day, month and year but block, stop and fight anything from moving forward
Would be nice to know which one someone is referring too, there are so many
He would order and has ordered the take down of anyone who threatens us or the country
Keep under estimating the man
Well aware not a member of hope and change by question
Talking to the hand…..
The mother phucker has no rights as far as im concerned . I don’t care who it is if some guy charges after me trying to kill me im not reading him anything . He can read the fine print on the bullet when it hits him between the eyes
The man’s a terrorist. You won’t find me crying about it.
