How come these Muslim clerics in Yemen don’t know that jihad is not a holy war?

Or is war a “personal struggle”, just like having babies, as Muslims often claim?

BQ: Why do they want to protect al Qaeda terrorists?
Alexa – I know Jesus is Lord, King of Kings hon. My name is for Muslims since they wrongly believe Jesus is just a prophet and a Muslim one.
Darkbane – If you have a valid point to make, it would sound better if you didn’t start with insults. All Islamic countries are riddled with corruption…actually, most countries in general are. That is not the point.

Muslims say jihad, specifically the greater jihad is a personal struggle. If you are a woman, going into labor to have a baby is a struggle. Getting pregnant is the fun part, lol. Muslims on this site have used that as an example of jihad, trying to make it sound innocuous. They’ll also say things like praying is jihad, giving to charity is jihad. None will say jihad is holy war…but these clerics do!

Ok, maybe you are just too thick headed to understand this(?). But the government of Yemen is riddled in corruption and is the poorest country in the Arab world.

Combined with government corruption, that is what happens when people have no education at the same time going to nothing but madrassas studying only The Koran, hadiths and stuff and getting brainwashed with anti-Western propaganda. Nearly half of the detainees at Guantanamo were Yemeni nationals.

Oh, should you be saying this after US military and CIA tortured detainees in Bagram Air Base and Guantanamo to force them to confess to their crimes? Just a thought.

“Having babies” is a personal struggle? o.0

    I thought it was fun.

Edit: Since when did I insult you? No, not all Muslim majority countries are riddled with corruption. But most of them are sadly. It is impossible for any country to be completely free of corruption anyways. Criticism != insults.

I bet many Muslims would find your name insulting to begin with. Just a thought.

A typical Muslim cleric claims only Muslims are intellectually capable of grasping subtle and deep Islamic truths, The rest of the Non Muslims are either too dumb to understand what they do or they are not chosen by Allah.

muslims know what jihad means. they don’t want non-muslims to know.

actually i like what they are doing.

they are not actually “PROTECTING” the al-qaida they are just “OFFENDING” america they dont want america to come in there country and invade them also.i think yemen is like keeping the last bit of dignity that is left in the muslims.

and anyways those who were sent by media to know what is al-quaida say that they bearly think that such organization exists so i think that there is no such thing. it is only america trying to get some oil.

    LONG LIVE YEMEN!!!!!

Jihad is struggle and it includes personal struggle as well as struggle with evil forces.

From the article, one can see very clearly that the Jihad spoken about is Holy War.

However, though the Muslims there will claim that they are poor and starving and deprived and victimized etc.as we have seen the Muslims always claim they are, it’s astonishing how they seem to have the funds for AK 47s, ammunition, rocket launchers and explosives for these things

I recall that Somalia was a land to which USA had to send it’s troops to protect UN aid convoys from looting Islamic Jihadis and get food and medicine etc to the starving people there.

A lot of documentaries that an American friend of ours who had been a Somalia veteran, had shown us here showed us the whole villages full of people with AK 47s, rocket launchers etc, that they even happily posed with!?!

Many of the people who were armed were children; which was shocking.

The average cost of just one AK 47 without any ammunition could easily have fed a family there for a year, so, the question now arises if the Muslims’ “poverty” is selective as to what they poor for since their people seem to be willing to arm them, but not feed them.

Anyway, should the Yemeni Muslims declare a jihad, it really will not make much difference to the Americans, who when provoked by them will be fully within their rights to retaliate with extreme prejudice and that would kill a lot of the Yemenis and be the grounds for blanket bombing and such other retaliatory steps.

Muslims seem to think that their violence will scare everyone else and don’t seem to realize that it is that which is the reason why people are now hitting back for.

We often hear threats from the Muslims saying that if they are not given something then they will have to unite and start fighting with the extremists, which doesn’t fool us one little morsel since we all know that all of them support the extremists in their hearts and pretend not to in our presence. None of us are afraid of them, but are merely exercising restraint. When they do go to the level of crossing the line, we don’t hesitate to come down with all force and resolve the issue even at the cost of extensive collateral damage.

It’s up to the Muslims to understand their plight and correct themselves or face the retribution and retaliation for their acts.

The whole wide World cannot be expected to carry on exercising restraint with a lot of people who will understand and mend their ways.

That would be encouraging such undesirable elements to flourish and would be injustice to all others.

What is a bit perplexing, though, is what do the Yemeni think they will achieve with all this, since America is not making any overtures there and this kind of thing could force them to enter there. If they don’t want the American intervention, it would make much better sense to help their own legitimate government in their legitimate tasks. Anything going against that is a clear case of treason whatever their personal sentiments might be.

  9. Ghost says:

The concept of jihad being a holy war was copied from the Christian crusades of the middle ages. Muslim fanatics have always twisted the Quran to fit their political agenda.
