‘Over the years, bin Laden and his fellow terrorists launched numerous strikes against U.S. targets with the stated design of getting American forces out of Saudi Arabia — including the twin embassy bombings in East Africa; the attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, and, eventually, 9/11.’

‘The United States has said that virtually all its troops, except some training personnel, are to be pulled out of Saudi Arabia.

The decision was confirmed by US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld during a joint news conference with Saudi Defence Minister Prince Sultan.’

Ask the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

I’m not sure this is a bad thing. We still have bases all over the Middle East and Persian Gulf region, and I think the world will see that the stupid Muslims will hate us either way.

It must have been an accident if Bush is doing something good for the US. We have no real business having troops in the middle east. Or Asia, Or Africa, Or South America, or anywhere but here. Let the multi national corporations provide their own security at their cost, not the US taxpayers. Without US taxpayer support corporations might find the safe labor and manufacturing climate in the USA competitive after all. Bring jobs home, stop being corporate security overseas.
