Anybody remember when citizens of Bahrain were the only in the Midd-East that could travel to UK without visa?

but after 9/11 everything changed 
Bahrain never had terrorists and is one of the closest allies to the UK in the Middle-East, one of the most liberal arab nations in the world! Why do we have to lose that advantage because of what few stupid terrorists did ? Bahrain used to be the only middle-eastern country that its citizens could travel to the Uk without a Visa and visa-versa ?
Your question saddens me. I am from New York USA and I understand your frustration. You are obviously a good person and would never dream of doing such a terrible thing to innocent people but we now live in a world where there are extremists living among us who look and act just like the rest of us but whose every breath is filled with hatred and they seek nothing more than the destruction of innocent people. You and I are the victims of this. We would love to live and travel freely and in safety and be judged on our appearance but those days of innocence are gone. When your sweet , helpful family oriented neighbor turns out to be a terrorist it destroys all faith in your fellow human beings. It is for our benefit that all people be checked and their identity and intentions verified when traveling. I am sad for the entire world that we have to live this way now. May you and yours live good long lives and may you never see these atrocities firsthand. Peace my friend.
