Also his plot to boil the ocean is also in a Doctor who spoof where an alien desperately wants to fight the doctor and threatens to boil the sea in a planet’s core for “power over the sea”

Mechanicles is kind of a lame villain. The only good thing about him is he makes awesome inventions.
