Airbus experts – need some reassurance!?

Hi,
I’m due to travel from NYC to Atlanta next week, and I’ve found out my flight out will be on an Airbus A340. I’m not usually a nervous flier, but after everything that happened with the Air France and Yemen Airways airbus flights, I don’t exactly have a lot of trust in the aircraft. Can anyone put my mind at ease?
zivah.
Sorry, I meant Arizona, not Atlanta.
Airbus is an excellent aircraft manufacturer and the FAA is very strict on aircraft checks and up keeps, Airbus manufacturers their aircraft differently in every country because of different laws and regulations and the United States has the toughest and most strict laws when it comes to aircraft up keep, everything will be fine on your flight, just sit back, relax and enjoy it, good luck
there are a lot of airbus plane flying so dont worry
You should be most worried about the cab ride to the airport. For air travel deaths to equal car accident deaths in the US; 9/11 would have to happen every single month.
Airbus airliners are just as safe now as they were before the Air France and Yemenia crashes. The first crash probably had a lot to do with very bad weather, the second was probably due to pilot error. The exact reasons for these crashes are not known yet, but there is no reason to be nervous about riding on an Airbus based on these crashes.
The ones that crashed were not 340 s, so it is a totally different aircraft.
The Yemeni one had previously been banned in France for poor maintenance.
The Air France 330 is the only one to crash and we’ll need to wait for the result before coming to a judgement.
Dozens of Boeings have crashed over the years and thousands of GM cars. Does this affect your travelling habits?
the hells wrong with you, its not like 737s arent dropping out of the sky 5 times a year
